A little item on a TV news website I follow (www.tvnewser.com) caught my eye this afternoon, and it is something for students to think about.
Mary Noonan is leaving her job as director of talent development at CBS News, to become the senior producer of documentaries at CNBC.
That isn’t what caught my attention. Rather, it was the fact that Mary has been at CBS News ever since she took a job AS AN INTERN on the overnight broadcast when she was a college senior, 23 years ago.
Yes, internships are worth doing. And you never know where they might lead.
