Cynthia Lord, clinical associate professor and director of the physician assistant program, was named the 2012 Outstanding PA of the Year Award by the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She will receive the award at AAPA’s Annual PA Conference in Toronto, Ontario on May 28.
“As a PA, I am committed to giving my best to my patients. I take pride in my ability to help people heal and avoid illness,” said Lord. “As a PA educator, I have an obligation to guide the future of our profession on a path of compassion and advocacy for their patients. I hope this recognition will motivate the next generation of PAs to give their best to their patients.”
