Quinnipiac experts available to discuss the election

The following faculty members at Quinnipiac University are available to comment on the national election:

The election:

Scott McLean, professor of political science in the College of Arts and Sciences

Khalilah L. Brown-Dean, associate professor of political science in the College of Arts and Sciences, can discuss voting, the election and public opinion based on gender, race and sexual orientation.

First ladies:

Lisa Burns, a professor in the School of Communications, is an expert on the media’s coverage of first ladies.

Health care reform:

Angela Mattie, associate professor and chair of management in the School of Business, can discuss health care reform issues, including the Affordable Care Act and what Mitt Romney is proposing.

John Thomas, a professor in the School of Law, can discuss health care reform issues, including the Affordable Care Act and what Mitt Romney is proposing.

Business:

David Cadden, a professor of management in the School of Business, can discuss how the election will impact business.

Media coverage:

Paul Friedman, a former executive at ABC and CBS News and professional in residence in the School of Communications, can discuss the media coverage of the election.
