Media throughout Northeast covers Christopher Ball’s appointment as honorary consul of Hungary for Connecticut

Ball ChristopherChristopher Ball, director of the Central European Institute and Istvan Szechenyi Chair in International Economics at Quinnipiac University was featured in a Boston.com article about his Thursday inauguration as honorary consul of Hungary for Connecticut.

The Hungarian government selected Ball as honorary consul, an appointment that is recognized by the U.S. State Department. In his unpaid role, he will promote academic exchanges and commercial, economic, cultural, scientific and tourist relationships between the two countries.
