Seven of our diagnostic imaging students are in Ireland completing clinicals. Here, six of them pause for a photo in front of Blarney Castle. “These students are gaining international experience in their major, which is invaluable for any student but especially those in health science fields,” said Andrea Hogan, director for global education. “Students with international experience are more marketable as they begin their professional careers because they come to the field open to diverse perspectives.” The diagnostic imaging summer clinical exchange with the University College of Dublin sends five to seven students each year to Dublin and, in return, UCD has sent students to Quinnipiac to conduct summer research.
