University closed Feb. 5 due to snow

snow-genericQuinnipiac University closed at noon on Friday, Feb. 5 because of the snow storm. All classes are canceled and all University offices are closed at noon.

2:30 p.m. update: Shuttle service to resume

Full shuttle service to resume at 4 p.m. today with fewer buses than usual. Give yourself extra time, particularly if you are going to tonight’s game.

1:30 p.m. update: Senior portraits to go as scheduled

Senior portraits will continue as scheduled today.

1:15 p.m. update: Campus dining schedule

  • Mount Carmel Dining Hall 7:15 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • North Haven Dining Hall 7:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • York Hill Dining Hall 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Bobcat Den 11 a.m. – 1 a.m.

12:30 p.m. update: Hockey game to go on as scheduled

The men’s ice hockey game vs. Cornell scheduled for Friday, Feb. 5 is still scheduled to happen at 7 p.m. at the TD Bank Sports Center.

12:15 p.m. update: Pine Grove closed

Pine Grove on our Mount Carmel Campus is closed to pedestrians during the snowstorm due to the risk of falling branches.

12:10 p.m. update: Fitness centers to remain open on Mount Carmel, York Hill campuses

The Mount Carmel and York Hill fitness centers are remaining open until their normal closing times of 11 p.m. and 9 p.m. respectively. The North Haven Campus fitness center is closed.

Noon update: Transportation and parking changes

All University shuttle service is suspended. Two shuttles will be on standby to pick up anyone who was previously dropped off and needs to return to the Mount Carmel or York Hill campuses. We hope to resume the New Haven transit and North Haven shopping shuttles at 4 p.m., weather-permitting.

Students on the York Hill Campus are asked to move their cars to the York Hill Parking Garage immediately.
